Benefits of membership

Our members are able to remain at the forefront of cyber security through:

  • Access to cyber security experts across Australia from academia, industry and government.
  • Networking opportunities across sectors within the cyber security community both nationally and internationally.
  • Gaining ongoing early access to a vibrant portfolio of research projects and knowledge of current and emerging cyber security threats and risks.
  • The ability to participate in research projects across the ACSRI portfolio with the opportunity to fund specific projects with particular relevance to your organisation.
  • IP access for commercialisation and improvement of your business operations.
  • Training opportunities for employees – workshops, short courses, and scholarships.
  • The formation of strong partnerships to address opportunities in ways not available to individual members.

Becoming an ACSRI member

New members are welcome to join ACSRI. There are four categories of membership with differing levels of commitments and associated benefits, i.e. Patron Members, Full Members, Associate Members and Affiliate Members.

Current annual membership fees are as follows:

  1. Patron Members – industry – $250,000
  2. Full Members – universities/research/industry organisations – $100,000
  3. Full Members – government – $100,000 (or $500,000 of in-kind resources – or a blend to achieve value)
  4. Associate Members – $50,000
  5. Affiliate Members – $25,000
